Description

Ethylene transmitter E2638-C2H4 is a member of new PluraSens® family of multifunctional measurement instruments.

Applications include fruit storage and ripening, chemical and polymer industry, agriculture,  and other areas requiring precise measurement of ethylene concentration.  

The instrument utilises novel fully calibrated and temperature compensated electrochemical gas sensor with excellent repeatability, stability and long lifetime. Due to a special technical solution for humidity compensation, the detector may be used even at humidity levels up to 100% RH.

To connect the detector to safety or building automation systems use two analog outputs and RS485 digital interface with industry standard Modbus RTU protocol. We recommend to set the output scale within 20-100% of the detection range.

Two relays with closing contact (option) may be used for remote signalling or ventilation control. Two alarm set-points are user settable within 5-95% of the detection range.

The device is available with either attached or remote sensor probe (default cable length is 3 m).

A version with an LCD indicator is available.
