- 2 × 4-20 mA / 0-10 V, RS485
- Relay or LCD indicator option
- Attached or remote sensor options
Ammonia transmitter E2638-NH3 is a member of new PluraSens® family of multifunctional measurement instruments.
The instrument is intended for leakage control in refrigeration facilities, warehouses etc. It is not recommended to use the detector in spaces with constantly high ammonia concentration such as cattle, pig and poultry livestock houses, since it shortens the sensor lifetime. For air quality control in agriculture see E2618-NH3-S or E2638-NH3-S.
The instrument utilises novel fully calibrated and temperature compensated electrochemical gas sensor with excellent repeatability, stability and long lifetime.
To connect the detector to safety or building automation systems use two analog outputs and RS485 digital interface with industry standard Modbus RTU protocol. We recommend to set the output scale within 20-100% of the detection range.
Two relays with closing contact (option) may be used for remote signalling or ventilation control. For 0...100 ppm range alarm set-points are 25 and 35 ppm. For other ranges alarm set-points are user settable within 5-95% of the detection range.
The device is available with either attached or remote sensor probe (default cable length is 3 m).
A version with an LCD indicator is available.
